The Listening Room · Version 2026-10-26.2 · Effective October 26, 2026

Welcome and personal access

The Listening Room is owned and provided by Positive Realities Multimedia, LLC, and created and directed by Payman Pirnazar. It provides approved readers with books, AI-generated narration, and reading tools. Your permission is personal to you and covers only the content and features made available to your account. Provide accurate information and use your own sign-in.

Books and responsible sharing

Books, narration, artwork, and other materials remain the property of their respective rights holders. You may read, listen, and use available downloads for your personal use. Do not sell, publicly post, redistribute, or commercially exploit them without permission, except where applicable law allows. Sharing an invitation or link does not authorize its recipient: new readers need Payman’s approval. Do not share another person’s contact information without their permission. If you upload material, you must have the rights needed to store, narrate, and share it.

Narration and availability

AI narration may contain pronunciation mistakes, omissions, or other errors. Refer to the written book and report problems through Feedback. The service and its content may change or occasionally be unavailable; uninterrupted access and error-free narration are not guaranteed. Do not misuse the app, bypass access controls, or interfere with other readers. Positive Realities Multimedia, LLC may, at its sole discretion, add, change, restrict, suspend, or remove any book, feature, permission, or access to The Listening Room at any time, with or without cause and without prior notice. This is subject to applicable law and any rights under paid-access terms; it does not waive non-waivable consumer rights.

Fees

Accepting these terms does not authorize a charge or subscription. Any future paid offer must separately show its price, what it includes, billing frequency, and applicable cancellation and refund conditions before you purchase. Complimentary access does not promise that all future content will be free.

Information the app uses

Core reading uses sign-in identity, reader names and emails, permissions, invitation history, terms acceptance, first and latest online library visits, saved reading position, preferences, and the books, notes, bookmarks, feedback, PDFs, extracted text, and generated audio used by those features. An access request also includes a phone number and the introducer’s full name. Separately, optional detailed analytics can record app mode and release, book and chapter identifiers, opens, playback starts, pauses, resumes, buffering starts and ends, playback errors, seeks, chapter transitions and endings, book endings, approximate active-playback and elapsed-session time, a pseudonymous reader key, a per-tab session identifier, event sequence, and the device’s time-zone offset. Playback errors are events only, without an error message, media URL, or page content. Optional analytics is off until you separately choose it and can be turned off later. The app does not collect page text, private note text, keystrokes, microphone, precise location, or activity outside this app through analytics. Hosting, CDN, storage, sign-in, and AI providers may process technical logs such as IP address, browser/device information, request time, and errors needed to operate and secure their services.

How information is used and shared

Core information is used to approve access, deliver books and narration, remember your place, respond to feedback, and maintain the service. Optional analytics is used to understand reliability and reading or listening patterns. The library owner can review reader contact details, access requests, sharing records, acceptance records, and private operator insights. Member-facing collective views, if introduced, must suppress small groups and must not expose names, emails, individual histories, or private notes; pseudonymous identifiers are still personal information and are not described as anonymous. Personal notes are not displayed to other readers unless you make a separate explicit sharing choice. Hosting, CDN, storage, sign-in, and AI providers process data needed for their functions; text sent for narration is processed by the narration provider. Device sharing and email use the services you select. The app does not include advertising trackers or a feature that sells reader information.

Storage, choices, and privacy questions

Optional detailed playback telemetry is retained for up to 180 days. Turning it off stops new detailed analytics after the choice reaches the service; it does not erase earlier records. Longer-lived reader access, consent and acceptance records, saved progress, aggregate progress, and operational records remain until removed under their existing lifecycle. You can ask Payman to review, correct, or delete information through the privacy contact form on this page, including before accepting. Some records may need to be retained for security, transaction records, legal obligations, or backups; copies in backups or previously downloaded or shared files may remain outside the active app until their normal lifecycle ends. Browser storage keeps settings, offline books, and a bounded analytics queue on each device only while analytics is enabled. A disconnected device may not learn that analytics was turned off until it reconnects; queued events are not accepted by the server after consent is withdrawn. Invitation issuance is distinct from successful message delivery; the app does not claim a message was received unless the sending service verifies it.

Changes and your rights

A new policy version requires acceptance again before continued online use. Existing offline downloads cannot receive changes until the device reconnects, and files already exported cannot be remotely recalled. If you do not agree, do not continue using the app; you can leave or contact Payman. These general terms do not limit rights or remedies that applicable law does not permit us to limit.
